Samuel Hudson, PhD

Dr. Samuel M. Hudson is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer for Karamedica, a company focused on developing a chitosan-based implantable hemostatic device. A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Hudson also served as a Professor of Polymer and Color Chemistry at NC State University (Raleigh) for nearly three decades, and currently serves as Professor Emeritus in the department.
