The trū Chitosan products are produced in a United States FDA registered facility with Good Manufacturing Practices GMP) and conform to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP) specifications and its strict, prescribed testing methodologies.

Chitosan is a natural polymer extracted and purified from, most commonly, the exoskeleton or shell of crustaceans.
